FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STATIONS CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS
WITH ABC RADIO NETWORKS’ CHRISTMAS CHANNEL

Dallas (Dec. 6, 2007) – Over 35 affiliates are partnering with ABC Radio Networks to run one of the season’s most popular programs, the Christmas Channel.  This format is one of the most highly-researched, customizable programming tools available to stations during the Christmas season.  Available to run through Christmas day, some of the industry’s leading stations have signed on: WABC New York, WLS Chicago, WJR Detroit, WNOX Knoxville and KSFO San Francisco.

“This is really a win-win for stations.  The Christmas Channel allows them to deliver great holiday programming to their listeners, loaded with sponsorship opportunities.  It also enables stations to provide time off to their staff to spend with their family and friends during the holidays,” said Carl Anderson, Vice President Music Programming, ABC Radio Networks.

Unlike most of its competitors, the Christmas Channel is one of the few programming specials delivered via Starguide and not CD.  This allows affiliates to receive fresh programming through their entire broadcast window, rather than being confined to content on a CD.

A market exclusive opportunity, the Christmas Channel is available to terrestrial and HD stations.
